OHHH So Cool. Just thinking about Christmas in July should cool you off from the heat outside in the Phoenix area. Historic Downtown Glendale will be hosting Christmas in July on July 20th, 2013. Enjoy holiday crafts, treats, and exclusive deals from shop owners in Historic Downtown Glendale. There are only a little over 150 days left to shop, so miss the rush and start your shopping now. Start at the Glendale Visitor Center and pick up your holiday map. The first 300 visitors will also get a savings pack and win a prize from the prize wheel. Let’s not forget the less fortunate while we are there. A Back to School charity drive will be taking place. Please bring some school supplies to donate to the children. Make their school year better by supplying them with pens, pencils, paper, glue and folders.
Downtown Glendale is a lovely place full of unique gift shops and antique shops. Spend the day walking the area taking trips back in time with the shops. Stop by one of the local restaurants for a great treat. Please make sure that you wear cool clothing and stay hydrated. Just because it is Christmas in July, the weather outside in not delightful!
