IRS Rep Course: The CCH IRS Representation Course is Now Available

Education & Training with Tax Rep LLC

The focus of our practice is civil and criminal taxpayer representation, and as many of you have known, we have been working very hard with CCH to develop an online IRS representation training program to train attorneys, certified public accountants (“CPAs”) and enrolled agents (“EAs”) in how to handle routine IRS representation matters.

The program is now available. The brochure for the program is found by clicking here:

The site for the product is here:

The product is designed to take practitioners who know absolutely NOTHING about the IRS and teach them the basics so they can begin handling routine matters. The course includes:

  • Inside the IRS
  • The IRS Collection process
  • Financial Guidelines for resolving tax issues
  • Installment Agreements
  • Offers in Compromise
  • Discharging taxes through bankruptcy
  • Tax Liens and Tax Levies
  • Payroll Tax Issues and the Trust Fund Recovery Penalty
  • IRS Examinations
  • Appeals
  • Tax Litigation
  • Civil Exams when there are indications of fraud (“eggshell audits”)
  • Criminal Tax Investigations

The product provides a certificate in representation, 24 CPE credits, and is priced at $799, but until August 31st CCH is offering a 20% discount, making the program less then $27 per CPE credit.

If you would like to discuss the training program, please feel free to contact me at (860) 494-4786 or by email at

This is excellent material on how to deal with the IRS. Mr Green is a leader in the field and has done an excellent job of putting forward the information on this subject.

Highly recommended!
