This area has a very high deamnd for brick detached ranches! The house needed a full renovation, but the street is very desireable and close to all. It included 3 Bedrooms, 2 baths, finished basement and new oil heat. The property is 38 x 100. PCA Realty was the listing and selling broker.

Congratulations on your sale. I live in Canada now where prices are no where near US dollars. Sure wished I kept my condo in Howard Beach - I paid $10,000 for it in 1979 and moved in 1982 tripling my investment. I guess that's true of every home.

Hi Denise, Thanks for the memories.... The market did go crazy around the late 70's early 80 as condos came into existence here. I have relatives that also did very well selling a condo in Howard Beach many years ago. The ironic thing about the house on 26 Ave, was that in the middle of the buildings dept mess, (totally not the owner's fault) the offers went above the original $600 offer we had, losing 3 buyers in the process. The market is not depressed here! Loved your bio, keep up the good work!
