Bamboo is what I've been using lately and the clients are all very pleased with it. Great information Debbie.
Hi Debbie,
I really like the look of real wood. I have installed the bamboo in the past and the clint's really liked it.
Have a great day in New York City.
Best, Clint McKie
Ginny - Thank you so much. I really appreciate that.
Roger - That's the one "wood" I'm now trying to avoid as it does not last long.
Clint - I've heard lot of issues with bamboo, and especially in your region, so I'd be careful.
Debbie: You do a great job of freely sharing your flooring expertise with the masses. Thanks and have a wonderful day!
So much great information on what flooring to chose Debbie. I too have heard that bamboo is not the best choice. I had a builder think it would be a great different look only to find out that it was less durable. Thanks for sharing all your expertise.
Hi Debbie, thanks for this pretty comprehensive list-I really love maple and I would keep it natural because the grain is beautiful - but most homes here have oak, unless you are building new construction.
Good morning Debbie,

Debbie - great way of informing us (and our buyers) on different flooring .. Thank you!
Debbie, I'll probably never get to see and feel an ebony floor in any home here but the grain and tone must be spectaculer in the right home.
Debbie, I could be wrong about this but my sense is the average person my choose a floor based upon the look. There is so much more that we need to know before me make a flooring purchase. The facts and details you provide will definitely help homeowners make informed decisions when making a flooring purchase.
Debbie even though I have read some of this information before, I continue to learn something new each time I read it. Great information.
Always the best hardwood expert in flooring in Westchester NY and beyond...great share Debbie
