I Am The American Dream

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Rapid Realty

From the outside looking in at the Brand Ambassador’s Tattoos coverage  going viral, the dozens of television appearances and radio spots, the Lolli Mansion (dubbed by the media) and Rolls Royce, it can be easy for some to overlook and discount the investments and sacrifices I made to I get to where I am today.

Being a public figure means being on stage and making the world forget that there is anything behind the curtain. The illusion must seem equal parts effortless and flawless. As I look at my life I am reminded of the countless hours, days, weeks, months and years of hard work that happens behind the curtain.

I started out in real estate with simple aspirations - to work hard and make money. I wanted to give back to my Mom and Dad in such a way that they would never have to worry about money.

Pretty early on I realized that real estate was a great match for my personality and work style. I liked the freedom I had to set my own schedule and plan my own day. I also liked the commissions!

My Mom is the one that encouraged me to go beyond the level of an agent and to open up my own real estate office. So, I did. The first Rapid location was in Brooklyn, New York and it quickly grew from a handful of agents to a large, bustling office. I put a lot of hours in and still do. I did whatever it took to keep moving forward and to make a profit.

I also went on to open up a real estate school and construction business among many other businesses. I am making my dreams come true with sweat equity and a smile. I started with almost nothing and am very proud of the success I have achieved with my real estate franchise, Rapid Realty.

For aspiring entrepreneurs or anyone working their way from the bottom, my story is proof that those dreams are achievable with dedication and hard work.  My result is born from an imperfect situation and best of all, my story is the affirmation that the American Dream is alive and well.
