Am I prepared to work with the Millennial generation?

Interesting concept! Although every generation has it's similarities, if there is one thing that always changes is the way that the different generations communicate. I think we all know that it's important to know how to text, Skype, email, video email, and etc.. But is that enough?

I think the important issue for Millennials is  to communicate the way they do. If they email you, email them back; if they text you, text them back. Don't call if they text and don't be disruptive in their lives. Also, do it on their terms. Since this is the "Mobile" generation, make sure your farming capabilities match who you are actually farming to. For example, Trulia Mobile Ads, or flyers giving the younger generation of renters the chance to get market updates through text. Those could be some very interesting ways to capture the Millennial as your client.

Here is what the new generation think about home ownership:

Excellent blog Joey! Knowing something about your clients is an important first step to earning their trust. Also, informative statistics about each group.
