Granny White Park is tucked back behind Brentwood Middle School and is a wonderful neighborhood park. The 32 acre park is located at 610 Granny White Pike and offers something for everyone.
Here are some of the features you’ll find there: Large all-purpose field frequently used for soccer and lacrosse, playground with a variety of equipment for all ages, 4 lighted tennis courts, Rotary Club pavilion, full basketball court with 6 goals that was recently resurfaced, 3 baseball/softball diamonds, 2 bocce courts, and 2 sand volleyball courts. Fields and pavilion may be reserved in advance or used on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The .8 mile loop is located on the outer edges of the park for walking and running… no bikes, skates, or skateboards. The trail is partially shaded with mature trees. Benches are situated throughout the park and along the trail. The park is also adjacent to Brentwood High School. Many exercise enthusiasts walk on the trail and then do a few laps around the high school track. The concession stand by the baseball fields also houses restrooms and a water fountain.
Granny White Park in Brentwood TN is pet friendly and there are pet waste pick-up centers along the trail. Pets must be on a leash while in the park.
There is a large parking lot in the center but nearby residents find it convenient to just walk over. Neighborhoods in walking distance of the park include: Brass Lantern Farm, Princeton Hills, McGavock Farms, Belle Rive, Foxland Hall and River Oaks.
