Home ownership is the American Dream but that doesn’t necessarily mean the purchase of a house. In these busy days many home owners are leaning toward the convenient lifestyle of condo living. Condo’s appeal to busy professionals, families with both families working, and aging Americans who do not want to be responsible for exterior up keep and landscaping. Some advantages of condo living are not having to be responsible for exterior repairs, affordability, low maintenance, amenities, and a great since of community (depending on where you buy). Some factors that may be a drawback are community living and privacy, fees, rules, and space.
For the older generation of American’s who might be looking to downsize, condo living may seem more appealing then a smaller single family residence. Many condos today offer a considerable amount of square footage but with master bedrooms and bathrooms on the main living area are much more comfortable for us as we age. Those of us who belong to the 55 and over age group have had our fair share of mowing lawns, shoveling driveways, and raking leaves. If you are in the 55 and over age group and looking to downsize in the lovely state of Connecticut why not take a ride to Beacon Falls and check out our Condo’s at Pond Spring Village. We have a wonderful community of Active Adults and are always looking for new friends to take part in out many activities. This weekend take a scenic New England drive and stop by our open house held on Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm. If you would like a private showing contact Linda Mayfield or Ken Shove!!
