Cayucos, the coastal town located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco is known as one of the “last California beach towns.” It remains relatively untouched by major development and continues to hold its small town charm with its boutique stores and down-home restaurants. Cayucos’ pristine white sand beaches are dog friendly; just keep the leash on.
Coronado Island has long been a premiere vacation destination escape long before it was named “one of America’s finest beaches” by the Travel Channel.
