Le Pink & Co. the Sunset Boulevard cosmetics/candles retail store is now up for sale at an “undisclosed price,” according to LoopNet.com. "$2,500 a month rent for the 800 sq/ft shop located in the Sunset Junction retail district." The current lease expires in July 2014, with the landlord willing to extend the agreement for three years. "But expect to pay $2,900 a month during the last of those two years." ($3.63 sq ft) The Le Pink & Co. rental comp somewhat disproves the idea that a retail business needs a glut of parking to thrive, and that the more walkable-friendly places / equally bicycle accessible are becoming some of the most coveted retail hubs in the greater metro area. Echo Park, Los Feliz, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silver Lake, DTLA all have limited parking to a degree, and are quickly becoming the most desirable places to hang out and shop.
