Chipmunk Rescue in Norwalk, CT

All right, I wrote a blog on July 14, 2013, entitled Getting New Business 101.

Chipmunk in Norwalk, CT

I have to admit, the title was not terrific and probably should have been called Chipmunk Rescue in Norwalk, CT.  However, the idea of saving a chipmunk and getting new business was pretty intriguing.

Really, how could one not like rescuing wildlife and possibly getting new business! Therefore, my short blog for this evening is ...... "my" chipmunk is alive, doing well and being released into the big, open 'chipmunk world' in Weston, CT, tomorrow morning!   I will be at the Crisis center in the morning to send 'Munk" off to chipmunk happiness and freedom.

For those of you who know me, I'm in heaven in 'critter world'. For those of you who don't know me, animals give me such happiness and awareness of life.  Our backyard is also known as 'Snow White's Preserve'. So until tomorrow, along with photos to show you that 'Munk' is alive and well in Weston, CT, I  wanted to update you with the latest news on Chipmunk Rescue in Norwalk, CT  and how he/she was saved with the help of the Wildlife in Crisis in Weston, CT.

Christi, this is just too cool for words.  Take lots of pictures if you can of your little chipmonk friend.  Enjoy.

Christi I remember the blog well, and even though "Chipmunk Rescue In Norwalk, CT" is a good title, I still like the one you did originally choose better because it was a good example of how "Getting New Business 101" works :)

Both would have been winners.

So glad to hear about the chipmunk's progress.  I have to introduce you to Hillary from our county.  She rescued a squirrel.  I think it was from Hurricane Sandy.

Hi Karen.  Yes, I will follow up later today, hopefully.  I was reminded, "They do run pretty quickly." ;)

Hi George.  Thanks.  I had recalled that a 'snappy' title was important; not that Chipmunk Rescue  ... is that 'snappy'.  Appreciate the comment.  See you in August?!

Hey Debbie.  Would love to meet a fellow rescuer.  Did Hillary's squirrel do all right?  See you at the AR gathering, I hope.

Oh joy, the chipmunk is going to be released. Now having said that, all I can picture is the commercial about saving a seal and as it's being lowered back into the ocean, a shark jumps up and grabs it

Oh, Ed, thanks for the visual!  I was going to say they're too fast; but evidently, not so becasue a cat got this one. Let's hope that Munk likes a long, happy life!

Thank you for being that type of person!  I am too!!  Nice story.  My cat Charlie (quite the personality) brought in a bird the other week -- TWICE!  The same bird.

Dagny - up at the Wildlife in Crisis running happy, healthy and free ... :)

Carla - I love animals; any animals.  Just adopted 2 cats from the Humane Society.  Older ones that had been around for awhile.  I think that I need a farm ....  So Charlie brought you the same bird, twice.  Poor bird must be really traumatized, at this point.  Either that or Charlie and the bird have become buddies! Plus, Charlie must really love you because he keeps bringing you 'presents'!

Christi, we should be watching out for our wildlife, and what a cute chipmunk!    Glad they are now running wild at the Wildlife in Crisis!
