Everyone Has to Start Somewhere

By
Real Estate Agent with The McClain Realty Group

My name is Brenda McClain, I own The McClain Realty Group and work with Keller Williams Heritage. I was born and raised in the Garden Ridge, Texas area.  I guess the first trophy I got in life was being the first born once it became an incorporated city, although I think my parents should have gotten the trophy.  Well the area has grown more than I could have ever imagined as a child and San Antonio is growing into New Braunfels.  The oil fields south of San Antonio have exploded and New Braunfels is no longer the small town I remember as a child, although the local Whataburger still exists and teens continue to cruise it on a Friday night. As the area has grown I live between the two and it's a challenging decision when going somewhere whether to head north or to head south on IH 35.  So I'm going to help bring the two cities together with local things to do, great restaurants, and of course what the real estate market is doing in both cities, because they effect one another. As a hobby I love to remodel homes - tear out walls, laying hardwoods or tile and everything that changes up a space to make it great!  So I will be adding tips and fun facts for home improvements along the way!  I am looking forward to this BLOG journey as many have encouraged me for years to start one.  So I would love any feedback anyone has on how to improve each and every post!
