How did the City of Poughkeepsie first quarter home sale compare to the second quarter?

In the first quarter 19 single family detached homes sold, however there was a big increase in the second quarter when 31 homes sold.

The homes sold in the first quarter ranged in price from $34,000-$290,000.  In the second quarter the range was 15,000 - 345,000

When you look at the average sale price the second quarter came in lower than the first.

The City of Poughkeepsie average sale price is lower than surrounding towns which usually have inventory in a higher range.  The average sale is also lower that the County which is usually over $200,000.
