Are you utilizing the space in your home to the fullest?

When I'm showing homes to clients, one of their main concerns is space. Is there enough storage space for large items like bicycles? Or is there enough room to fit their furniture? I always wait patiently while they imagine their furniture in a room to make sure there is enough space in each room for them. This is usually a major deciding factor in whether they will choose the home or not.

Here are a few ideas to utilize the space in your current home, so that when you decide to move space won't play as much of an important role as before. Remember that when you are replacing items don't just store the items you replaced, be sure to do a little digging and I'm sure you'll be able to find a place to donate them. If  the items can't be donated they are plenty of places that will recycle them. Or neither of those options are available please dispose of your items properly.

By doing so you won’t create space but you won't be cluttering things up either. Remember also that when you're picking out your furniture to be space friendly. For example, to make sure you get the most out of your space by purchasing squared as opposed to rounded items. This will better help you fill your corner space  If you have an empty corner or a piece of open wall somewhere I assure you have not maximized your space to its fullest. Hanging shelves weather for storage or to display something can help with filling up all that open space. These shelves are good in the kitchen to place the things that you use most.
