I would like to take you through the process that we at Pressure Cleaning Doctors take on each and every wood restoration project.

 

Step 1. Strip away all existing stain, mold, mildew etc... from surface with low pressure chemical wash. Important Note: Too much pressure will ruin the integrity of your wooden surface.

 

Step 2. Gently apply a wood brightener to the surface to neutralize the stripper application from step 1. Important Note: This step is the most important, if your contractor misses this step or cuts cost and corners the next time it rains your deck will start stripping your new application of stain!

 

Step 3. Allow to dry. The amount of time required for drying depends on the stain you choose for us to apply. Important Note: Soft Touch recommends a water based stain application or a oil with NO acrylic.

 

Step 4. Apply stain or sealant application to your exterior wooden surface.

Important Note: Soft Touch Pressure Washing always applies two coats to every project to give you the most protection. All stain and sealant applications are evenly applied and back brushed.
