This was a Good week for great posts.
I always learn a lot from other Active Rainers. From TECHO tips to fun tidbits. These posts have stood out from the crowd this week. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Jennifer- About Shoes- "If you are in the real estate business I am sure you have been given instruction by a listing agent to have your clients remove their shoes during a showing. This sounds like a reason request but for some it is not easy".
Regina- Wow, what a tutorial on architectural styles and this is just Part 1. "American architectural styles reflect our vibrant cultures, vast geographic areas, and time-forgotten eras. Discover the rich heritage of the most popular home types you may encounter in your real estate career. Designs and colors were influenced by local building materials available, and adapted to regional landscapes.".........
Liz and Bill- Talk about Commenting etiquette- "Whether you're a new or old member of Active Rain, commenting on other bloggers' posts is one of the best ways to build a relationship in the Rain. But wield the keyboard inappropriately and you risk destroying your relationship potential with the writer AND everyone else that reads your comment."
Glenn- This was a feature but certainly needs to be repeated. Wait for the punch line!-"Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment of life. As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper’s cemetery in the Nova Scotia back country."
Janis- Shows us how to get your own photos onto Google+. "When sharing on Google Plus it is important to capture your audience. While the AR logo is lovely, when you share your post from AR to Google+ the AR logo (especially ever time you post) is not very compelling but it is the default for your post."
Richard- Take a look at this inventive video on the Crofton market. Simple but effective.
Orson- shows us an astounding number of backyard sheds that are works of art. "As we reach the height of summer gardening season, you may be craving a better space for your tools and pots than that cluttered corner in the garage. Or perhaps you are at that point where your existing shed is a mess that seems beyond hope. Whether you're sketching out plans or dreading cleaning up, I have plenty of beautiful examples that show off some great ideas to help you get moving."
Andrea-Great blogging tips along the way. "I freely admit I can be a fly by the seat of my pants person. I have been one online, that's for sure. I read what experts post about how I should be blogging, about websites, about SEO, social media musts and my head spins! I admire those who actually can study these things and implement them 100%. They are not flying by the seat of their pants, for sure."
George, Has wriiten a series on Gift Funds. Great information for all agents and their Buyers and Sellers. "This is the third and final blog in this series on Gift Funds. In the first blog I cover Who Is An Acceptable Donor To Provide Gift Funds For A Mortgage? The second blog covered the Gift Letter Form & Gift Funds Documentation Required, and this third blog will be on.....What Is A Gift Of Equity, Documentation, & Acceptable Donors?
See you next week.
