My Lake Home Bed and Breakfast hosted our 12 person growth group the other weekend. We had a blast up there using the canoe, pontoon and kayaks. We saw a few pelicans, several bald eagles, loons and a red headed woodpecker. We saw the hosts were doing a great job of filling their boats with nice walleyes, northerns and crappies. We also enjoyed the huge open room with fireplace, wet bar, pool table and games galore. The home was also a treat to see with the spiral staircases made from the trees removed to make room for the home. This was an 18 sided home which makes almost a circle.
Each morning they made a wonderful and unique breakfast. The owner utilized ingredients from her garden and neighbors to create some delicious meals. We were always made to feel like we are at home. The towering pines and prime views of Dixon Lake make this a special place to go for a week or a long weekend.
