Senior Real Estate Specialist, Susan East, Embarks on her 3rd Annual Senior Expo
Susan East's LifeStyle Transitions hosts North Mississippi Senior Expo Friday May 9, 2008 9am - 2pm at the Southaven Arena on Highway 51
Crye-Leike, Realtors is proud to pledge its support to Senior Real Estate Specialist Susan East as she embarks on her 3rd Annual North Mississippi Senior Expo. The event is an extension of her advocacy and passion for assisting seniors.
History Behind the Event
"As a Real Estate agent, I have encountered numerous clients who are experiencing changes in their lives," said East. "Among those changes are the selling of their residence and relocation to a senior community or assisting living facility."
East is the founder of LifeStyle Transitions, a non-profit organization assisting seniors and their children. In 2006 East took her passion to help seniors to new heights with the launch of the Senior Expo.
"Last year's FREE Expo featured more than 80 vendor booths and displays ranging from medical professionals to retirement living, Medicare/Medicaid and estate planning," said East. "With the support of city and county agencies we drew thousand people from the region."
About the Senior Real Estate Expo Planned for May 2008
- The theme for this year's Expo is "The 50's"
- Features include free medical screenings, food & games, door prizes, memorabilia...
- Elvis has promised to enter the building.
- For the first time Walgreens will have their Wellness Bus available for the Expo offering more medical screenings as well as Bone Density testing.
- The Justin Case Band will perform throughout the day.
"Dramatic lifestyle changes for seniors bring about many questions as well as apprehensions," said East. "LifeStyle Transitions was created to answer questions and to assist and support seniors during this time in their lives. The Expo is an extension of our efforts to reach as many seniors as we can with a message or caring and compassion."
