Ok, Wow and this is not all her jobs! I often complain about there’s not enough hours in a day, but I have to say, I slow down late in the afternoon, and by the evening, I’m running out of gas.

May I introduce you to Kirsten Hayes, General Manager of ProStead Realty and a relative of the Energizer Bunny! I have never seen anyone that could do so much and pack it all into so little time!

Her routine day? First thing right out of the shoot in the mornings, she wakes the chickens up on the way to YMCA. Then comes home and gets the kids up for school, (or summer camps) feeds them breakfast and gets them off on their merry way. Next packs her and her husbands lunch for the day as well. Then off to the showers, dressed and to the office, to begin her day at work!

First there’s the emails, returning phone calls, answering phones, agents coming into the office, managing 45 agents, managing staff, putting out fires all day, handling complaints, working on closings, listings, signing up agents, not to mention taking care of the books, making deposits, writing checks, and I know I’m missing much much more. Many things I’m not even aware of! (yes, she does remind me occasionally!) Even taking a listing every now and then for a past client, or showing a property or two. And this all before lunch! Ok, just kidding about that part.

Let’s put it this way, I may be the BIC, but she’s in charge of all the day to day operations! I am still doing what I enjoy, listing and selling and she handles all my transactions for me!

At the end of the day, she’s out the door and headed to pick up the kids, often with a grocery stop in between. Then home to make dinner, clean up afterwards,  (family tries to chip in but she would prefer they get out of the way, it slows her down), throw a load of clothes in the washer, get the kids to bed, check on the kids before bed, and finally, sit down to a game of Words with Friends. After she kicks someones butt again, it’s upstairs to prepare for bed, lays down to enjoy about 30 minutes or so of her favorite book, the off to never never land, and wake up for another exciting day!

What a woman! I am lucky, proud and honored, to be able to call her my wife!.
