Atherton Home Sales Report For July 2013The Atherton home sales report for July 2013 reflects the continuing strong market throughout Silicon Valley and consistently strong demand for Atherton luxury homes.  Values are expected to remain steady or slightly higher through the remainder of the summer, though luxury homes are still taking longer to sell than those priced below $3,000,000.

Of the 9 homes that closed escrow in July, six were on the market longer than 30 days and one sold in 10 days or less.  This is typical of the area due to the generally higher prices of luxury homes.  The number of homes currently on the market is up slightly over June, though the number now in escrow is down by over 50%.
