Event scheduled to help injured Macon Bibb firefighter Eric John

 A month ago today my daughter's co-worker a Macon Bibb firefighter and EMT, Sgt. Eric John was injured on the job.  He is still in ICU.  Thankfully he is making progress and will recover.  But he has a very long road ahead of him.  An event is being planned for September 14th with a Bar-B-Que , a 5k run, and entertainment to raise money for Eric's family.  Meanwhile there is a t-shirt sale to show your support if you'd like to contribute.  ALL profits to benefit Eric John's family.  Please give back to someone who has given 20 years of his life to serve and protect others.

Chris I hope so too.  I worry every single day my daughter is out there working accidents.  The driver was just arrested a couple of days ago and has three charges pending against him.  I get really incensed when people don't follow the move over law.
