Curb appeal is definitely a project that requires on going maintenance. Usually what ends up happening is we put of these projects off during the winter months. Now that summer is almost at an end and as we begin the autumn months, it's a great time to look into completing these projects. Remember that the exterior of your house is ALWAYS on display for the world to see. It's seen by your neighbors, guests, passersby and most importantly potential buyers.
There's no rule stating that you HAVE to keep up your curb appeal, but if you host gatherings and parties of sorts, why not create that atmosphere that will keep your guests in awe. Plus it's also nice to receive compliments on how nice your home is from your invited guests. When you are working on these projects and making these upgrade to your home keep in mind the other positive fact that you're also adding value to your home.
Curb appeal does not only improve surroundings for a more comfortable visit for your guests. It also makes a great first impression on potential buyers and improves the moods of the residents in the household. Having that clean, open and organized area makes for a less stressful environment. So if you're like me and work from home, this can be important as we are home more that the average household that has to commute to work. So why not enjoy the view!
