Summer is in full swing in Connecticut and this past July was one of the hottest on record! Although this first week of August has been a little cooler this month is sure to bring plenty of warm days perfect for soaking up the sun and putting your feet in the sand. Connecticut offers some great New England beaches so why not enjoy them! Silver Sands State Park in Milford was actually ranked on of the Top New England Beaches due to its lack of crowds and spectacular views. Hammonasset Beach State Park is Connecticut's largest beach with over 2 miles of shoreline to enjoy! Ocean Beach Park, located in New London Connecticut, is rated one of the best beaches by National Geographic. There is something for everyone at this sugar sand beach from arcades and carnival rides to free concerts and car shows! Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme allows camping and the soft sand makes it great for lounging on the beach. Many people enjoy Rocky Neck for its wonderful wildlife!
