I am new to real estate. Whew - got that said! I am, however, not new to life, motherhood, grandmotherhood or the working world. Today is a start, a new beginning.
Living in the small town, village if you will, of Big Water, Utah along with 400 other hardy souls, may not seem like a good place to start in the real estate business but au contraire; this is one of the most unique, odd, and different places in the world. Nestled up to the shores of Lake Powell, the Glen Canyon National Recreation area, the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and the Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness Area, Big Water also sits in the middle of the Grand Circle, the place in our country with the most National Parks. More on that later.
There is much going on in Big Water right now. A new world class resort is being built and it is going to require employees. For most of us old timers here that is going to be a shock to the system right there. Employment opportunities right in Big Water!!
There has been an active real estate broker for many years here in our small community. With her backing off and moving on to other adventures, there is a void. My life is here, my children's life is here in these rugged cliffs and sandstone buttes we call home. I have a deep, vested interest in helping the current members of our community as well as new folks who decide they want to live in our little piece of heaven. So, jumping in, I am.
