Kathy, that guy has a way to go to even be a true amateur. Worst of all, he may have been the best of the bunch.
We can't even make up stuff like that. Unfortunately many contractors just don't do a good job with costumer service.
Joe, it's even more scary when you consider that these non-responsive contractors are not a randomly selected sample. These guys have made a deliberate commitment in time and participation fees in hopes of getting some leads. I'm guessing that they called leads until they got a job or two, then stopped.
Goodnes, Mike, that is not someone I would want to do business with. Imagine what he would do if he made a mistake on the job.
No doubt that, if we contracted with him, we would have found out what he would do when he made a mistake.
That doesn't sound like the behavior of a true professional.
