I get this question "alot" on services!

Services for Real Estate Pros

Why would anyone use a credit repair company when they can do it themselves? Good question! Lets discuss this thinking.

Credit is absolutely necessary for most people to live the life they want. There are (and I know some of them) mortgage officers, loan officers, and real estate agents doing credit repair out of their back office. Let me ask this: If you wanted to learn to play golf would you hire a mechanic who just plays in his spare time to teach you or would you hire a golf pro. Point is you can also do surgery on yourself but I would not suggest you do it. With something as important as credit you should leave it to the people who are professionals and know what they are doing.

How much is over charging a customer?

Anyone who has a set price before they even look at your credit report does not know what they are doing. You have to base the price on the amount of work being done for the client. Say you have two clients. One has 12 collections, 1 judgement, and 1 tax lien. The second customer has 4 collections and 1 repo. How can you justify charging the same amount? Client #1 clearly has more work that has to be done on their behalf. Also anyone to tells you "We send three letters on each account" again has no clue. In some cases I have seen 5 or 6 letters sent to get the best resluts possible.

I guess what I am saying is please, please, please do your homework before you send a client to a credit repair company that is just going to use a "cookie cutter" method of credit restoration. Remember when you refer a customer to another company you are putting your name on the line. You have worked to this point to establish a good reputation for yourself. Lets keep the market honest!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Good points...I think it is the responsibility of the person who has gotten themselves into the bad position to figure out what the best way for them to get out is. The beauty of the Internet is that you can send them to Google and let them decide which firm is best for them.

I agree but unfortunately any idiot can advertise on goggle! If you find a good company and get your client's credit restored to an acceptable score you will probably have a client for life. Goggle is like seafood, its seems great until later when find out got a bad batch. Then you have a bad taste in your mouth and your out your finical investment.
