The title of my blog is a quote from a different blog I read this morning from Matthew Ferrara, a philosopher. Every professional Realtor out there should read this article! I think there are a large chunk of Realtors out there that get bent out of shape trying to figure out the best way to capture the most leads with their online presence and advertising. Now this may seems like a good idea but I think you are spinning your wheels when you do that.

I'm not saying to not have an online presence, but focus more on content than capturing leads. Leads are good, and should always be nurtured and cared for, but try to remain focused on your RELATIONSHIPS! Ferrara included this table in his blog talking about the method people used to find a real estate agent:

Is that not amazing!? Look at the three most unlikely sources that business is coming from. Now look at the top two. I encourage all Realtors to not only read Ferrara's blog but to also dig deep and take a look at the way you are running your business!
