Carlsbad Art in the Village - August 11th in Carlsbad Village
It’s that time again…for another of the famed Carlsbad outdoor 1-day fairs. It’s the peak of summer and one of the premier art events is coming to Carlsbad this weekend!
The 15th Annual Carlsbad Art in the Village will take place Sunday August 11th in downtown Carlsbad Village along State Street and Grand Avenue, only 2 blocks from our beautiful Carlsbad beaches.
The Carlsbad Art in the Village is a popular art event, with works of art from more than 150 local and regional arts and crafts artists. The art eye candy is amazing – fine art, classical and contemporary sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, clothing, paintings in all mediums, pottery, wood working, furniture, accessories and so much more to feast your eyes, and wallets, on.
Like the other fairs, Carlsbad Art in the Village is free and runs from 9 am until 5 pm. You won’t go hungry, with international food vendors on hand, and music will help with the relaxation and perhaps stimulate those spending urges.
And of course we know Carlsbad weather will be wonderful, after the morning marine layer burns off.
You can expect some crowds and perhaps a few parking challenges, since over 20,000 typically attend this popular event.
