Marketing Your Business: Lead Management 101

Do you know what to do with your leads? Are you doing anything with your leads? Well, in this series, we'll talk about ways to manage your leads. Some of the things we will discuss include:

Drip e-mail campaigns -  This is a very cost-effective method to keep your name in front of your contacts. E-mails cost next to nothing to send. Drip e-mail campaigns are also a great way to make the most use of your time. Once your Virtual Assistant has written the campaign, it can be used over and over again, maximizing your return on investment.

Drip direct mail campaigns - Although direct mail campaigns are more expensive to send, this is still another great way to maximize your return on investment. Once your Virtual Assistant has designed the drip campaign, it can be used over and over again. There are still quite a few people who prefer to have something in their hand as opposed to something on their computer. Direct mail caters to those individuals.

Newsletters - Contrary to what many people think, newsletters still serve a great purpose for those in the real estate industry.
Newsletters are an easy way to touch your contacts while using them as an opportunity to cross-promote and show good will to those in your database.

Holiday Marketing - Use holiday marketing to touch your contacts, but use it wisely. You don't want to get lost in the mix of routine
holiday marketing. You want to stand out. The best use of holiday marketing is be the one remembered after the holiday is over.

The primary purpose of getting
leads is to convert them into clients. You can't do that effectively if you don't stay in touch and keep your name in front of your leads. If you properly manage your leads, it will turn into a much higher conversion rate. Generating leads without managing them properly is like throwing money out the window. Do you have money to waste?

Renae,

Great blog.  I suggested it for a feature.  Lead management is very important in the real estate business.  Drip email campaigns seem to be used more than any other method.
