Pet Friendly Homes in Boca Raton FL
I'm looking for a pet-friendly home in Boca Raton or a condo in Highland Beach FL. They don't take dogs in this community? My dog is so good. What about service dogs? Would they accept a service dog? I can't tell you how many times I've heard this same speech. My answer is always the same. I don't get involved in fighting associations in communities that don't allow pets when buying a home. Why, you ask? Because associations have their Rules and Regulations and, whether we like them or not, we have to follow them. You obviously love your pet so why not go to a pet-friendly community in Boca Raton that will gladly accept your four-legged friend? You don't think the neighbors are going to see or hear your dog when the mailman walks by. Are you kidding? I know your friend told you it was ok to move into that condo, but seriously!
In today's Florida Realtor News is an article entitled "Now You Know...Fake Service-Dog Gear Creates Problems." Yet another side to the story is presented, this time through the eyes of the truly disabled and how they are being penalized for the over-abundance of "service dogs" we now have. It is a heart-wrenching story and one of the reasons why I always recommend appropriate communities or condos that are pet friendly for pet owners.
