This Blog Post was inspired by a challenge made by Debbie Reynolds of the Active Rain Community. I rarely participate in contests or challenges, but this one caused me to pause. By sharing more about myself, I may make you more comfortable in sharing something about yourself. Trust is earned so it stands to reason removing some of the mystery can help begin that process.
Here is part two of two; 10 things you may not know about me from the present; that is now.
Please note my sharing of the following information may cause you to wonder why on earth you'd want to know me better;
Perhaps it will be just the thing which motivates you to hastily slam the door and run the other way as quickly as possible;
Or perhaps, just perhaps it will cause that door of mystery to creak open just enough we'll be able to build on a great foundation.
I'm taking advantage of free moments sitting in parking lots as I write this blog.- I'm the proud mother of an Iraq veteran. I served during the first Iraq conflict and he served in the second.
- I have a terrific Chihuahua who was literally homeless. Not a big fan of small dogs, I just can't seem to resist this one named Rambo.
- I donate a portion of every commission to WERC in addition to my volunteer time.
- I give food and chat with our community homeless population. One day I hope to see them all working and secure in their own homes.
- I worship with Beth-El Baptist Church in Morgan Hill.
- I often forget to eat which results in a stern lecture from my husband - and then a meal, of course.
- I have a lot to learn about technology and how to best use it without becoming frustrated.
- My Meyers-Briggs Indicator is INTJ so every day I get out there pushing further outside my comfort zone.
- I don't like to shop, but I really enjoy showing homes. Strange, eh?
Enough about me; perhaps even too much. I'd love to hear more about you!
