Top Five Favorite And Best Pinterest Recipes That Are Sure To Please!
We have been pinning our favorite recipes on Pinterest for awhile now and make it a point to try and actually make a recipe at least once a week. Some have been complete FAILURES (Chinese food does not ever belong in a slow cooker) and other Pinterest recipes are knock-your-socks-off DELICIOUS!
Below is a list of our Top Five Favorite and Best Pinterest Recipes That Are Sure to Please:
1. Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin-This pork loin slow cooker recipe is hands down THE BEST pork loin recipe I have ever made. It just the right amount of tang from the balsamic vinegar counterbalanced with the sweetness of the brown sugar. It is the perfect company meal. Hint: Double the sauce. It is that good.
2. Hot Crash Potatoes. YUM. Talk about potato heaven. These potatoes have the goodness of a baked potato and a french fry all wrapped into one tasty bundle of potato love. This Hot Crash Potato Pinterest recipe has been in our regular meal rotation for about two years. Hints: Serve with the Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin, allow extra time to make this dish, you can use dried herbs, and make sure you let the edges get extra crispy-use the broiler if you have to.
3. Slow Cooker Beer Chicken. This slow cooker chicken recipe is full of flavor, super easy to make and is a great meal to make year round. The key to this Slow Cooker Beer Chicken Recipe is to use a "sweeter" beer. Try one of the new summer beers that are out on the market. This recipe goes great with a salad and the Hasselback Potatoes that I will list below!
4. Hasselback Potatoes. Yes, I know. Another recipe for potatoes. However, you can do so much with these! I always place the potatoes (I use Yukon golds) on a wooden spoon to stabilize the potato when I am making the slices. Variations of these Hasselback Potatoes are ENDLESS. Try sprinkling some bacon bits on them right after they are done baking and add chives, cheese and sour cream!
5. Green Beans with Lemon and Olive Oil. This is the perfect, healthy green bean side dish that will go with almost any recipe, including the Pinterest recipes listed above! Hint: Definitely give the green beans an ice bath right after you are done boiling them to keep them nice and crisp. Have everything prepared ahead of time because these need to be served hot and fresh and should be the last dish you put together.
