We're excited to tell you that we finally closed 2090 Brickton Station, in Buford. This short sale success was a result of our teams tenacious resolve to see this through to the end. After over 4 buyers put this home under contract and then flaked out we thought it might be the one exception to our normally guaranteed sale of short sales. We feel blessed that that we found favor by "going up the chain" with Fannie Mae. Fannie Mae short sales aren't impossible, but they are more difficult, especially when they think a home is worth what it sold for in 2007 without any repairs.
This Buford home sold for a good price keeping Buford Home Values high, and much higher then they would have sold for if the home got foreclosed on.
Pass the word, short sales are still possible, but for how much longer, we don't know.
