Come on, Come on... Get Happy!

Interesting list!  I haven't lived in any of the states listed except Washington - but I can totally understand it making the list 'cause I am REALLY happy to live here in the midst of natural beauty and an easygoing lifestyle.  (Oregon might be the only state that'd lure me away.....)  :)

Great list Mel-Who wouldn't be stress free living in Hawaii. Cmon get Happy and the Partridge Family. Some tunes just stick with you FOREVER

Melinda, some of these like Hawaii and Oregon aren't all that surprising but others like North and South Dakota are down right shocking. Thanks for the info!

Great info, and it is amazing when you think of various parts of the US.  That is precisely why we will not do over the phone brand strategy or marketing, whithout getting the lay of the land, the people and the lifestyle. A

Melinda - I make a daily decision to be happy ~ wherever I am. Lots of Utahns act similarly; you just have to visit to find out. Wonder who makes up these lists. In the last year we have been awarded amongst other things "Best State for Lovers" and State with the soberest University (opposite end to party places).

Melinda, That is a very interesting list of top 10 Happiest States based upon quality of life. I am not surprised that California is not listed :-D

I don't live in the happiest State, but happiest county? Now that's a different story! Would anyone like a glass of Sonoma County wine?

Lucky you, Melinda, to live in a state that made the cut! Mine didn't, but I've been casting my eye towards your coast lately, thinking about retirement. Your video sure works to make Southern Oregon seem even more appealing.

WooooHooooo....I'm living in one of the healthiest states!  I love NH and can't imagine living anywhere else!

Naw I will take Florida we have it all and much more of it. Even the heat is enjoyable with our beaches.

I live in a state of happiness.  And it really wouldn't matter where I was so long as I get to take my family.

That's going back to an old saying... GO WEST YOUNG MAN!  Me, I am good here for now in Florida but soon I will be moving further South. 

Mel, if I get any happier they'll put me away for good.  Everything is here except snow skiing and I can fly out any time I need to hit the slopes.  I can't water ski in Minnesota in February!

Mel, I was really HOPING our wonderful ORYGUN would weigh in on the top 10 list of happiest places! And Hawaii is another one of my all-time favs....thanks for the countdown.

How cool, our two states are on the list! No surprise. However, I am surprised that Colorado didn't make that list. As you know, I'm heading there on Wednesday morning and can hardly wait.

Are you going to Bend for those bluer skies - or Colorado too. If so, wish it wasn't such a busy time, I'd try to hook up with you.  It's been a bad fire year and my heart breaks for all of those affected. Thinking of you....

Many of those states don't surprise me (although the corn states threw me for a loop - I guess the lack of huge cities lowers their overall stress levels??). Having lived in the PNW, the WA/OR connection is 100% believable. My second home!

As for Hawaii, well, that's on the long-term goal list for me and the Man. We would very much like to live there: whether for a year to try it out (fun!) or permanently (we'd have to find out if Dave is allergic to the Aloha State first). 

Thinking of you and folks you know being affected by the fires. Hope things are calming down up there.
