San Francisco drops to a tie for third.

Minneapolis earned the first-ever “five park bench” rating on The Trust for Public Land’s ParkScore® index, finishing first among the 50 U.S. largest U.S. cities. Minneapolis scored well on all ParkScore rating factors, with especially high marks for park accessibility and park system investment. The ParkScore index rates city park systems on a scale of zero to five park benches.

They probably did not see all the benches in SF as the homeless encampments have grown up around them.  Not a city person myself.  I think I might like the twin cities - in the summer time.

Profit from my two decades of experience

Shar,

Congratulations to Minneapolis for nailing down the top spot. I would agree with Adrian Benepe you need great parks to be considered a top city.

Never been to NYC Roger but one of these days!

Well where have you been Kathy! LOL

Thank you John. 5 Benches out of 5!

We love our parks Donna after being locked inside for months during the winter, ha. Watch my coming post about that video.....

Lake Calhoun is one of the great parks right within the city Kathy. We have dozens but Lake Calhoun is one of the most popular.

Thank you and thank you Janice. More about that video on my next post.

Minneapolis is famous for their Sculpture Garden in the heart of the city Christine. It is a fun place to visit.

Ha, too funny Gene. I live in the suburbs myself but I love going into the city.

So true Adrian! Thanks for stopping by.
