Have never seem the show or the off shoot, pardon the pun. I would not watch these shows either, as some of these reality shows, just aren't reality.
Bob, I have not seen these shows and don't think I will tune them in. It sounds like the show is trying to outdo itself just to get people curious. You are right, it probably won't last much longer.
One of our neighbors watches the Preppers and has now began prepping. We told her she will be the first house we rob if things get that bad :) We keep the pantry stocked but that's as prepped as we're going to be.
You call it like you see it Bob. Nuts . . . they're everywhere. I think having an emergency kit with food, water, etc. is fine. But this is a little over the edge. I've instructed my son to go to either Alaska and find a Yup'ik Eskimo family, or the Negev desert and find a Bedouin family and hook up with them. They really know how to survive the extreme elements and have been doing so for thousands of years. Doom-day sayers, YAWN!
Bob, your post made me LOL. Just when you think reality TV can't get any worse. I sometimes wonder who pitches these ideas and who accepts them. It's baffling, really.
Yeah, I'm not convinced that there is any reality in these shows. I'm thinking netwroks are trying to outdo each other in order to get better ratings. It sounds like no one here really watches these shows...I am wondering who does. (besides a few of my friends who really enjoy the Bachelor TV show.)
It is our age group of apx 50+ that will survive. Especially us rural guys and gals that grew up on the farm when money was scarce and you had to jury rig machines to get them to run.
Bob, I've never watched the program or any "reality" production. I think the networks just look for the most obnoxious people they can find and turn them into a reality program.

I've seen these shows and have a problem staying tuned. I'm sure these people exist, I'm glad they aren't my neighbors. :)
