First Step for Northeast Ohio Home Buyers

A Frequently Asked Question I get is - What is the First Step in Buying a Home?

A Home Buyer Consultation and Orientation is the First Process in helping my Northeast Ohio Northeast Ohio Counties MapHome Buyers.

This First Step for Northeast Ohio Home Buyers  orients the buyer to the buying process and helps me to get to know the buyer better.  We go over the home buying steps from beginning to end, answer questions, and give referrals for related services if needed, such as mortgage officers or inspectors.

In order for me to do a better job of helping the Northeast Ohio Buyer find the perfect home, I go over the below list of questions during the Northeast Ohio Home Buyer Consultation.  The review also helps the buyer to see that there is a lot more to buying a house than price and size. Very good outline to get the homeowner thinking and for you to get to know the homeowner. This is a great way of bonding you and the buyer.

Christine, great explanation of what occurs...buyers do need to figure out what towns they want to live in...that is first step ...i have found many here going state to state to try to be on the water and we as agents don't have the time to drill that down for them...once you find the town that you know you can afford, neighborhoods are uber important!

Great list, Christine.  You know what to expect as do the buyers.  We really do need this information in order to help them.  It's best to get it up front.

I Love it Roger!  I guess this post should be the 2nd Step in the Northeast Ohio Home Buying Process ;)

Ginny,  my buyers tell me how much they love going through it because it really gets them thinking about what's important to them.

Even with all of this Shar, it's so hard because people don't buy a house every day, so it's not second nature and there is a lot to do!

It sure is Elyse.  At least the buyers aren't walking in completely blind :)
