Mercy Medial Center unveiled it's new Outpatient Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine center on august 5th, 2013. This center will expand the hospitals physical medicine and rehabilitation department.
The facility boasts a full staff of physical and occupational therapists and speech language pathologists, who evaluate and treat a host of physical disabilities ranging from difficult walking to post stroke rehabilitation and spasticity.
The center has a full array of exercise equipment, including treadmills, stair climbing machines and miniature trampolines which are available for patient use.
The center is located in the lower level of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center building located in the rear of the hospital campus.
