London St Thomas Chapter has had their first RESA meeting

By
Home Stager with Gomes Design

Our, London St Thomas chapter has had their first RESA meeting.  It was informal and very small - 5.  We did have a few who where not able to attend this time but are interested.

I would like to encourage all Stagers in the London St Thomas area to join and be part of our group. It is an opportunity to meet orthers in this field  and help us strengthen our industry in our area.

Excellent Isabel!  I wish I had a RESA chapter in my area....alas, there are not too many stagers nearby....maybe in the future when staging catches around here!!  Good Luck!!  Go RESA!  Regards-Kathleen G

That is great news!  My partner and I are the heads of the chapter in our area and are trying to finish up a few houses so that we can move forward and have our first meeting.  We are trying to work some tie-in angles with our Association of Realtors and are hoping to get some interest.  RESA is such an important organization for our industry and we are so proud to be a part of it.  Please let me know what you think was successful and any tips/advice for holding the first meeting.

Thank you Marci.  I am sure that it will get there.

Kathleen, Even though there are not many in your area, by introducing RESA and making it visible to the real estate professionals and local real estate association gives you a head start.  You should go for it and start a chapter.

Tracy.  I sent out about 40 invites and received a few RSVP,s but I am not discouraged. We met as an informal meeting for the first time. We shared what we would like to see from the association and some came to  find out what the Real Estate Staging Association is about.

Good Evening Isabel,

I am not far from you, living in Exeter, On.  I am also a designer/stager and a feng shui consultant.  I too am very passionate (borderline obsessive) about my career.

I am very new to this..I do not even have a blog yet, however, I am very interested in the RESA chapter.  Would it be possible for you to give me more information about this?

It is a little isolating out here in Exeter and would be great to meet people in my same profession!

Thank you,

Karie-Sue MacLean
