New dog park on the Andover Coon Rapids border

In conjunction with the cities of Andover and Coon Rapids and Anoka County, Bunker Hills Park just added a huge new dog park. The dog park is located off Hanson Blvd by the new Sheriff's office at 133rd Ave, just head East. The park area is near the compost site and railroad tracks in a previously unused portion of the park. They fenced in a few areas so you can have your dog roam freely in a 5 acre fenced in location. There is a trail that leads up to the park from the Wedgewood and Oaks of Shenandoah neighborhoods. Finally a place for Fido to run around.
