GasBuddy app
My personal favorite app is GasBuddy.com
 
We travel in our business and knowing what gas station has the lowest price is important.
 
It's simple to use and free.  Touch the green gas pump and the app opens up to show you a list of prices of the gas in the area you are located.
 
Up top you can touch the map and a blue dot will show you exactly where you are in your car and where the gas stations are.  You can touch the price and get directions to the gas station.

Mygasbuddy app is a handy tool to have! I so agree.. I also have one to locate the nearest gas station that has diesel, I've come oh-so-close to running on empty (before I got the app) because the gas stations nearby had no diesel!

This app is getting good press in the AR Contest. There are a lot of grocery chains with gas station alliances here that have to get calculated in the mix.
