Boynton Beach FL Real Estate Market Report -  June 2013

The Boynton Beach Real Estate Market continues to show that when homes are priced right, they sell.  Even in these times of low inventory, overpricing a home will still cause it to sit on the market.  Overall, the total number of closed sales in Boynton Beach was down in June over the previous month.  Prices fell on single family homes in June and rose on prices of attached housing.   In my opinion, this is due to low inventory in Boynton Beach which continues to remain very tight thereby creating a sellers' market.  This is driving prices up and has turned the market into a sellers' market.  

The chart below is based on information taken from the Multiple Listing Service and sold by various MLS participants. It does not include private sales. It is deemed accurate but not guaranteed or warranted.

Here is the breakdown:

As of June 30, 2013 there were 899 Active Listings for sale in Boynton Beach. There were 675 properties that were Contingent, meaning they were waiting for a contingency in their contracts to be met, and 409 properties that were Pending Sale waiting to close.
