Avon Lake News: Wheels for Wags

 Friendship APL of Lorain County is hosting the third-annual "Wheels for Wags" charity car show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Avon United Methodist Church, 37711 Detroit Road. The rain date is Aug. 31. The show is open to all makes and models for a $10 registration fee. Attendance is free, but donations of pet food and litter are greatly appreciated. There will be music, food, door prizes, raffles, a pet blessing by Pastor Liz Krall, a K-9 demonstration by the Avon Police Department and more. All proceeds will benefit the Friendship APL.
