Perfect Staging Clients

Home Stager with Stage-Show-Sell

Few weeks ago Marianne and I did a first appointment with my clients.  We helped them decide what furniture etc was to go into storage.  Mom and dad were there too loading and hauling.

They were wonderful.  The best cleints that we've worked with.

We gave suggestion on waht lights fixtures to change, furniture to move and colors to paint.

This week, it was was too icy for me to go out, Marianne went back to finish the staging.

These before and after photos say it all.

Absolutley awesome.  Seller don't realize that if we can take them out of the picture, take the attaments away, a home can be made for any one.  Good job.  BTY, I like you new professional pictures too...

What's That Smell?  This is a good post too.

It's great when they do take all of your recommendations and do them.

It is nice when the client implements your recommendations.  I find that even when they do the work themselves they are amazed at the difference.

Virginia, you should send this link to Gwen so she knows how much we appreciated their cooperation.  I'm sure seeing the "befores" and "afters" will really show her what a great choice they made to be proactive and stage the house.

By the way.........that puppy dog would NOT move when I was trying to take the photos!!

It's like a skating rink outside today.......don't go out:)

Wonderful transformation!

Did the clients need to add any new items or were you able to use what they had?  If you did bring in some new things, who went out and purchased them?  (one more question -   ; )   - what kind of budget di they have?

Angie, Thanks for the compliment on the photo -- it's a fun photo

Marianne, Gwen should have a copy of the link in her email.  I can't wait to see her response.  The link was also sent to the person who referred me.

Thanks for the warning about not going out.  I'm not going anywhere where I can't be driven up to the door.

Susan, We didn't quote the job except by the hour and rent for the items that we needed to brought in.

The total hours were less than 5.

Marianne will have to comment on what she brought in from her stock and what she had to purchase.

Susan........I brought accessories from my inventory.  Luckily, I had everything I needed in the right colors and scale (a first!).  If I had needed additional items, I would have purchased them myself.

I supplied: throws and coordinating pillows for both bedrooms;  artwork, vase w/daisies and candleholder for the master bedroom;  artwork, floral arrangement, decorative oil bottles, biscotti jar, cutting board, pitcher and plant for the kitchen;  candlesticks and floral arrangement for the living room (Virginia had already brought the tree in the corner);  artwork, candleholder, lotion/soap set, vase and decorative bath oil bottle for bathroom;  vase and candleholder for office, a tree and matching storage baskets for the laundry room and assorted candles thoughout.

Add a couple of sweet, adorable dogs and you have a lovely, inviting house!  OK, maybe the dogs shouldn't be there for showings.............

Nice!  It is great when homeowners "get it."  I have been fortunate to have worked with a lot of great clients this past year!

Can I have you "stage" my place - while I live in it? :)

I so much enjoy the difference. It wouldn't be 5 hours (rather 50) ...

Sounds good to me.   I would enjoy working when you are there.  You make the tea and I order you around.  :-)

When do you want me to start?
