Call-To-Action in your Social Media Posts
You may learn two things from this post: 1.) how to make your social media posts show an image that is appropriate for your post and/or 2.) how to take this to the next level with calls-to-action from your social media profiles.
Or maybe you won't learn a thing- but thanks for stopping by! Feel free to say hello in the comments and plus, like or tweet this post -- especially if you are sick of seeing generic icons in your social media feed. Stop the madness.

The "register now" button may not be appropriate for this post, but in the video below- I illustrate why I added it. Since the social networks (Facebook, Google+) pull a thumbnail from your page, why not make that thumbnail a call-to-action button?
Helpful tip: Go to your FaceBook page and look at the ads they show you. Oftentimes, ad agencies spend much time and money researching what images inspire people to click FaceBook ads. I once found that when marketing a law firm to female FaceBook users, a picture of a smiling baby received the most clicks. For men, I'm a little embarrassed to say: it's often cleavage that get the clicks. (I don't recommend this tactic for real estate marketing, unless you are the Realtor and proud owner of the cleavage, of course.) But either way, FaceBook ads can definitely be a great place to get ideas.
Many have asked when the Summer MeetUps will take place this year and it's time to get the party started!!
What's a MeetUp you ask? Well, a MeetUp is an informal get together for those interested in connecting and informally hanging out with other ActiveRain members and real estate professionals in their area. We have members orchestrate MeetUps in their areas so ‘Rainers can get together and feel that live interaction that is so very special. Great things happen at ActiveRain MeetUps!
Interested in hosting? Find ouf it you have what it takes to host a MeetUp? (Click this to find out more about hosting, what it entails and what is asked of you).
