Short Sale - Lee County, FLorida

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

I want to educate sellers on how a Short Sale can benefit them... I know that may sound silly but its the truth....

You can short sale your home and benefit by:

  • You are able to buy a home again within approximately 2 years.
  • You can RECEIVE up to $30,000 in Relocation Assistance.
  • You get a much lower ding on your credit report.
  • You get the Deficiency Judgment waived. ( As of now this bill is passed until the end of 2013, may be extended)
  • Our inventory is low and we need more homes on the market, which relates to you can sell your home for more..
  • Once you start the Short Sale process, your foreclosure is stopped while in the Short Sale Process
  • You can stay in your home until it sells.
  • NO COST TO YOU

What does it take to get this done?

  • A Great Realtor that will get the information in a timely manner, price your home to sell and educate all parties involved on how the process works. This can be a very emotional time and we are here to help make it easier.
  • Get a Great Short Sale negotiator that all they do is Short Sale Processing. They have the contacts, connections, they know this process inside out with all of the Lenders..

I wish that sellers getting faced with default would get educated from a professional on how the whole process works...

Nice blog on Short Sales.  If they just knew the urgency to fill out the paper work and get it back in.

Connie,

I totally agree.

I think some of them dont see or feel the urgency, but it is definatly an important key in getting the short sale closed. Its worth it in the long run..

Have a great weekend!
