I had a nice time today catching up with some folks from the Dallas, TX Active Rain blogging community at Benedict's Restaurant in Addison, TX. 
Lorrie Semler was kind enough to get this Meetup on the calendar and naturally where else would we meet when Lorrie's hosting than Addison?.
While a small turn out (being the last week of August before school starts around here and some are off on vacations, conferences and just doing the last minute stuff necessary to get the kiddos ready for school!) it allowed for more intimate conversations and sharing. From chatting about the local Dallas, TX market to hearing about connections with other members of the Rain all over the country, it was great to hear what others have been up to and how their association on Active Rain has helped them with their businesses. I have to say I credit my time on Active Rain (especially when I was first starting out) with helping me grow my now very busy home staging business.
It's always great to see the faces behind the AR blogs!
