Daytona 500buy house in south daytona florida
At 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, tourists and local NASCAR fans will be seated and ready for the start of the Daytona 500. I just found out that NASCAR is celebrating 50 years this year! And if you can't be here in person, you can go to the web site and follow the race, lap by lap.

Now for those of you who are not NASCAR fans, or just don't want to watch the 500, perhaps you'd like to make my afternoon go by a little bit faster by stopping by my open house at 1678 Louisiana Road in South Daytona. It's just one block south of Beville Road. If you're not familiar with this area, Beville Road is I-4 So if you're coming from Orland, just stay on I-4 until it changes to Beville Road, then turn right on Golfview, just before you get to U.S.1 (aka Ridgewood Ave.) From Golfview, turn right on Louisiana Rd. You can follow the signs once you're on Golfview.breakfast nook

This house is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath beauty with the original terrazzo floors, brand new kitchen cabinets, Corian counters, and new tile floors. There's also a large breakfast nook plus formal dining area. The living room is of substantial size; big enough to fit plenty of oversized pieces of furniture.

And let's not forget the more than adequate sizes of all 4 bedrooms. This fine piece of real estate also features an enormous fenced yard, a rear patio and much more.

The open house is from 2:00-4:00. I hope to see you there! Where else can you buy a 4 bedroom house in a safe neighborhood for only $187,000?

If this house is not what you need, be sure to check out my other real estate listings on my web site.

I guess that traffic may be down but better qualify. Not sure I would do one in Daytona on race day. I live here in Indy and would never, ever, consider on the weekend of the 500. Not point to do it

Happy Selling!

Good luck with the Open House!  You just never know - I do hope that you get some traffic and better yet, if not an offer some good leads.

I would love to see the race just once in person!   The home is certainly in a good neighborhood and priced right, I hope it sells soon.

Candy- It was dead, but I wrote my next blog post while I was there. lol

Andrew- It seems like, with ALL of our special events, people pickup the real estate magazines and newspapers and take them home with them, then call or e-mail us and ask questions. I end up setting up the automated e-mail system until their next trip down. They plan their hoe buying for a separate trip.

Tony- It wasn't intentional. I never have a clue what's going on until the last minute =/

Gary- I hope it wasn't too bad. I would wait until after 2:00 when they're all settled in their seats.

Leesa- I got nobody =( But if I had know it was race week, I wouldn't have scheduled it for this week. I never have a clue what's going on.

Carole- The races are way too loud and with Fibromyalgia, I couldn't sit on those bleachers anyway. But my husband likes to go with his friends.

Jeff- Dead =( Oh well. It can't hurt to try. I saw quite a few open houses in the papers that day. I don't know how everyone else did.
