Lets have more participation.... I really want this work of Gods love to grow.......
Who is up for the first suggestion of where to give this offering.....
I have my own ideas, BUT I want some of yours first before I
chime in with my own....

I'd like to see a home rehabbed and just flat out given to a needy family. Im sure there is the ideal home out there that most of us would pass on to our investors, or even aquire for ourselves. Donating the commission back into the rehab would help even further. I can help in the work so long as it is in the Central Florida area and my skill include drywall, plumbing and basic electrical.
This small gift of kindness would hopefully get some media coverage and with a little luck have a contagious effect and spread the love across the nation.
Vickie Nagy Danville CA Realtor, ABR, CRS, GRI, and Darrel Davis, Windsor Realty Group I have sent BOTH of you invitations to join,"Christianity and Real Estate"...We would be honored to have you numbered with us!
Darrel, I will be contacting you as to how to do such a compassionate gesture in central Florida..... I LIKE YOUR THINKING!! I too live in central Florida...... maybe rehabbing a nice 3/2 condo would be a great beginning, hmmm...then we could "give" it to someone?
=-)
This is a wonderful idea! My thought would be to find a homeowner in need on the brink of foreclosure. They may need an electric bill paid or a bag of groceries.
This may apply to a Realtor as well who may not have had a closing in a while and needs help.
Thank you for the invite.
Lu: Giving is all I know to do. Even in this tight market I have managed to give plenty, even with a severe slowdown of closings. The last few months have been a testing period for me but I haven't cracked. My bills are paid with the exception of my house payment, but I still find a way to help anyone that needs, and accepts my help. My current focus is on our local Youth Football League where I am the fund raising chairman and was a double "gold" sponsor last year. It doesnt matter how much termoil is in my life, I can still find a way to give back. The swealing feeling of making someone's day is much better than the sinking feeling of being in debt. I think we can all give a little more directly to those that need it. :o)
Alexander,
For those of us with so much, the Lord wants us to share and give to those who have not been so fortunate.
I thank the Lord everyday for all that he has given to me......I know he has a purpose for these gifts and I hope that I am living up to His expectations.
Hey Al,
You have my support for whatever we decide to do here. You should post this to Activist Rain as well. There's a crowd there that's very well suited to your mission here. God Bless!!
