Just a short time ago I discovered that our localism posts were being found on Google by our buying public. At that point I felt like we had discovered a way to "beat the system" and get free leads. I also thought that somehow we must be manipulating the search engines.
Actually what we all discovered is a way to be rewarded by Google for hard work. It is time consuming pulling in all the information and putting together the localism post. It is time consuming naming the pictures, resizing the pictures and getting the pictures just where they belong on the posts. Don't forget coming up with a catchy title that the public likes and Google likes, and the time we spend grouping posts with cloud tags.
What is Google accomplishing by indexing our posts so high? Well for starters, people are looking for information and Google has found a way to provide that information. A SEO lady here in Activerain told me she thought that Google has a spider parked right here just for activerain posts. I believe it! Just 10-15 minutes after posting localism information, it is usually already indexed. Incrediable to say the least.
Who are the winners here? Google is! They are providing valuable information to the public who just keeps clicking on Google for their searches. Who are the winners here? We are! The phones keep ringing and the people who found us on our Google indexed Activerain posts are now our "bread and butter". Who are the winners here? Our potential and new clients are who are finding our valuable information and calling us to help them execute their relocation plans.
